Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Case Mod Update
I spent last night tearing down the LCD Screen I plan on using in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 case mod. The screen is a recycled PS2 LCD screen that was intended to be attached to the PS2 Gaming console. It made the console somewhat portable. These screens are fairly easy to interface via a VGA connection using a D-sub connector. So click here and check out the full update.

Google Sketchup Model of Thermaltake Armor+.
A good plan is key to the success of any work of art. In the old days we had to draw these plans by hand using good old pen and paper. Today we have a wealth of tools available to us that offer an unlimited amount of options for us to plan our project down to the last screw. Google Sketchup, Alibre Design, and Blender are usually my tools of choice for 3d design work, and tonight I chose Google Sketchup for the 3d work on the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 case mod. I spent some time in sketchup tonight modeling the Armor+ from scratch. I am no where near finished but it is to scale and will provide me a virtual place to test out ideas before I commit to them. Check out the full update here.
